The back side of the back cushion has a molded nylon hard shell rather than fabric upholstery for better durability in a factory setting. The front side of the back cushion and the seat cushion are covered with a commercial grade breathable woven fabric.
The back cushion features molded foam for lower back support and may be tilted
forward to provide excellent over-all back support for typical sewing posture.
The seat cushion features soy based high density foam that won’t break down over time. The waterfall designed cushion front edge assures good circulation and eliminates fatigue. Firm support is available in two sizes for personalized comfort.
Our industrial chair is available in two upholstery fabric choices. Our long wearing “Factory-Duty” upholstery fabric called Cross Check with a D.R. abrasion rating of 258,000 comes in 25 colors. We also offer a special “Ultra-Plus” fabric called Foundation that has an amazingly high D.R. abrasion rating of 1,000,000. This unique fabric will stand up to the roughest factory treatment, assuring you of a great looking chair for years to come. This fabric is available in your choice of 37 colors. Both fabrics have a stain repellant finish.
Easy to reach controls allow the operator to adjust the chair for maximum efficiency and personalized comfort. The back cushion provides improved support with its height adjustable ratchet style mechanism. This simplifies the adjustment and easily allows for several users to use the same chair with an easy switch of this position for maximum comfort and better back support. A paddle control quickly sets seat height and a second paddle allows the operator to control the back cushion tilt angle for typical sewing posture and great back support.
The five spoke molded nylon base is extra strong and very stable for operators weighing up to 300 pounds. A choice of pneumatic cylinders allows seat height adjustability from 17 to 33 inches and chairs can also be configured with a stool kit with height adjustable foot ring. The fixed position glides may be replaced with rolling wheel casters at no difference in cost.
